POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting outside sales function by compiling, and maintaining records of sales/marketing nature. This position maintains sales/pricing information and customer records, while monitoring quality to established standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compiles and maintains sales initiatives in presentation format including: product launches, quarterly promotions, surveys, and other market data.

  • Assist sales with other administrative needs ensuring accuracy of information is relayed to end customer.

  • Coordinate event planning for special promotions or events, as well as regional sales meetings.

  • Assist supervisor with special projects and product launch details.

  • Establishes and maintains internal and external relationships with a high degree of customer service.

  • Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues in relation to sales, customer service or marketing.

  • Required education generally equivalent to an Associate’s Degree required, a bachelors’ degree preferred, with a combination of experience and education also acceptable.

  • Requires 2-5 years of administrative, sales, business management, or related experience.

  • Requires a basic understanding of GMP’s, and SQF guidelines.

  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team or committee

  • Highly motivated and action oriented, with demonstrated ability to effectively organize tasks, manage time, set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills as well as the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy.

Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts occasionally. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as a bump cap and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
